* Alongside Hindi and French; Spanish, German, Korean, Mandarin Chinese and Japanese will be offered, subject to sufficient enrolment and learner interest, with the final language offerings determined by the number of learners opting for each language.

Assessment at The Choice School is an integral part of the learning journey,
designed to engage, connect, and reflect. Purposeful, authentic, and
continuous, it provides learners with meaningful opportunities to
demonstrate understanding, monitor their progress, and take ownership of
their learning. Guided by the principles of assessment for, as, and of
learning, our practices support every learner's growth and development.
Teachers gather evidence through observations, discussions,
performances, projects, portfolios, conferences, and learner reflections.
This ongoing evidence provides valuable insights into each learner's
thinking, understanding, and progress, enabling mentors to personalise
learning, respond intentionally, and plan meaningful next steps that
maximise learner success.
Learners are active partners in the assessment process. Through self-
assessment, peer feedback, goal setting, and reflection, they develop
metacognitive skills, build confidence, and strengthen learner agency.
Assessment extends beyond academic achievement to recognise
conceptual understanding, the development of Approaches to Learning
(ATL) skills, and the attributes of the IB Learner Profile.
